Small Oasis in The Desert

Hey, everyone! Welcome back to my blog, Life in Desert Paradise, where I share with you the latest and greatest happenings in the fabulous city of Las Vegas.
Today, I have some exciting news for you. There is a new resort coming soon to the southwest part of the valley, and it promises to be a game-changer for the locals and visitors alike. It’s called Durango Casino & Resort, and it’s being built by Station Casinos, the company that owns some of the most popular off-strip properties in town.
Durango Casino & Resort is located along Durango Drive, beside the Las Vegas Beltway, which makes it very convenient and accessible from anywhere in the city. The resort will feature an 83,000 square feet casino with the latest games, a state-of-the-art race and sportsbook, and a Boarding Pass loyalty program that lets you earn points and rewards when you play. Durango will also have over 200 luxury guest rooms and suites in a 15-story tower, with stunning views of the mountains and the Strip. And if you’re looking for some relaxation and entertainment, Durango has you covered. The resort will have a serene pool area with private cabanas, a customizable event lawn for concerts and parties, and several restaurants that will satisfy your cravings.
One of the most unique features of Durango Casino & Resort is its food hall called Eat Your Heart Out, which will offer a variety of cuisines from local and national purveyors, such as Prince Street Pizza, Uncle Paulie’s Deli, Irv’s Burgers, Fiorella, Ai Pono Cafe, Yu-Or-Mi Sushi, Shang Artisan Noodle, Nielsen’s Frozen Custard, Vesta Coffee Roasters, and an Oyster Bar. The food hall will have patios and seating areas for guests to enjoy their meals. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, burgers, sushi, noodles, or ice cream, you’ll find something to love at Eat Your Heart Out.
Another cool thing about Durango Casino & Resort is that it will be eco-friendly and sustainable. The resort will be home to 40 electric vehicle charging stations and multiple bike lanes to access the property with plenty of bike parking. The resort will also use solar panels and LED lighting to reduce its energy consumption. Durango Casino & Resort is committed to being a good neighbor and a green leader in Las Vegas.
Durango Casino & Resort is expected to open in late 2023 or early 2024, and I can’t wait to check it out. I think it will be a great addition to the Las Vegas scene, and a perfect place to enjoy the desert paradise that we love. What do you think? Are you excited for Durango?
