The (MSG) Sphere at The Venetian Resort
A Desert Paradise for Music and Entertainment Lovers

Las Vegas is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World, and for good reason. The city offers a dazzling array of attractions, shows, casinos, and nightlife that cater to every taste and budget. But did you know that Las Vegas is also a desert paradise, where you can enjoy the beauty and diversity of nature, culture, and history?
In this blog post, we will explore one of the most impressive attractions in Las Vegas: the Sphere at The Venetian Resort.
Features
The Sphere is a revolutionary music and entertainment venue that will take you on an immersive journey unlike anything you have ever experienced before. The Sphere is the largest spherical building in the world, surpassing the Avicii Arena in Sweden. It stands at 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, with 81,300 square meters of outdoor surface area, of which 54,000 square meters are equipped with LEDs to create the world’s largest LED wall.
The Sphere is a joint venture between Sphere Entertainment Co. and Apollo Global Management, which acquired the Venetian resort in 2022. The land beneath the Sphere and the Venetian is owned by Vici Properties.
The Sphere was designed by Populous, a global architecture firm that specializes in creating iconic venues for sports and entertainment. The Sphere features a state-of-the-art sound system with over 160,000 speakers, a 16K LED screen that wraps around the entire interior, and 4-D effects such as seat vibrations and wind machines.
Events
The Sphere will host live music, film, and sporting events, including boxing and mixed martial arts. The first event will be a 25-show residency by U2, called U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere, which will celebrate the band’s 1991 album Achtung Baby. The residency will run from September 29 to December 18, 2023.
The Sphere will also be part of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix’s Street circuit, which will make its way through the property in November 2023. The Sphere will provide a stunning backdrop for the race and a unique viewing experience for the spectators.
Conclusion
The Sphere at The Venetian Resort is set to become one of the most iconic landmarks in Las Vegas and a must-see destination for anyone who loves music and entertainment. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness history in the making and be part of the Sphere’s inaugural season.
